1 June Murder Mystery dinner 7pm at Blaina community center. Dai Laughing host a murder mystery dinner to help raise funds for the society. tickets are £15 and are available from Blaina Library and Blaina community center.

22nd June Heritage day at St Illtyds church 10 till 4pm. There will be Gwent Archives, Blaenau Gwent Heritage Forum, Gwent family history society, AHAS,Beaker pottery making and much more.

​

14th of July Archaeology day at Abergavenny Castle. Ever fancied becoming an archaeologist come and try it for the day at Abergavenny castle. the day will run 10 till 4pm and you can have a go at geophys, total station surveying, plane table surveying, archaeological drawing, there will be beaker pottery making for the children and a quiz at the museum. This is a free event. All welcome.
